A brand that was established with a clear concept of the long list of requirements that vegetable and fruit produce would have to meet if they were to carry the Videau name.
Our produce would have to be of impeccable quality and be grown using a responsible and safe process. Another prerequisite was the need for high-quality packaging that would stand out from the competition. We have managed to satisfy all these criteria, and Videau has become a well-established name.
For the introduction of the Videau brand we prepared a selected range of vegetables. A similar range of fruits is expected to follow soon. The entire production process is controlled by Videau. We decided to source our produce from growers who operate independently of growers' associations, but are Eurep-Gap certified.
Transport, refrigeration, and storage are also initiated by Videau. This means that we can guarantee the short lead times - from field to client transport within 12 hours - that are so important in the fresh produce industry. And of course all these disciplines are always performed with food safety firmly in mind.
